Shipping, returns & the legal bits
Smooshery is a small independent shop run by one person. These policies are written plainly on purpose — if something here isn’t clear, just email [[FILL: your email]] and ask.
Shipping
- Orders are packed and posted the next business day from New Caney, TX (ZIP 77357, just outside Houston).
- We ship USPS Ground Advantage with tracking on every order. Transit is typically 3-5 business days within the US — nearer the short end for the south and midwest, nearer the long end for the west coast and the northeast.
- Pre-orders: if a pack is sold as a pre-order, that is stated clearly on the product page along with the expected ship date. You are charged at checkout, and you can cancel for a full refund at any point before it ships.
- Shipping is free on all multi-packs. Single sticks are a flat $4.99.
- We currently ship to the United States only.
- You’ll get a tracking number by email as soon as the label is printed.
- Halloween cutoff: order by October 25 for reasonable confidence it arrives before the 31st. We can’t control USPS, so orders after that date are at your own risk.
- Once a parcel is handed to USPS it’s in their hands. If tracking stalls or the parcel is lost, email us and we’ll help chase it and make it right.
Returns & refunds
- Unopened packs: returnable within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the item price. Email us first for the return address. Return postage is on you unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong thing.
- Opened packs: final sale. Once a wrapper is opened the stick can’t be resold, so we can’t take it back.
- Damaged or wrong item: send a photo within 7 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund you in full, including shipping. No return needed.
- You cannot choose your design, and receiving a design you didn’t want is not grounds for a return. Packs are sold as assorted mystery packs and this is stated clearly before purchase.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Product & safety
- This is a novelty stress squishy intended for ages 14 and over. It is not a children’s toy and is not marketed to children.
- Choking hazard. Contains small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years old. Keep away from small children and pets.
- Not food. Despite the appearance, this is not edible. Do not bite, cut, chew, or ingest. Seek medical advice if any part is swallowed.
- Made of slow-rising polyurethane foam. Keep away from open flame and direct heat.
- Colours and wrapper designs may vary slightly from photographs.
Privacy
- We collect only what’s needed to send you your order: name, shipping address, and email address.
- We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own checkout page. Your card number never touches this website.
- Your email is used for order confirmation and shipping updates. We won’t sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone else.
- We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count page views. No personal tracking, no advertising cookies, no cross-site profiles.
- Want your data deleted? Email us and it’s gone, apart from records we’re required to keep for tax purposes.
Terms
- Prices are in US dollars and may change, but never after you’ve paid.
- Batch 001 is a limited run of fewer than 100 units. When stock is gone it’s gone, and we are not obliged to restock.
- If an item sells out between your order and fulfilment, we’ll refund you in full and tell you straight away.
- We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we believe to be fraudulent.
- By ordering you confirm you are 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian to make the purchase.
- Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
